2nd year of Czech Photography Salon exhibition in Topicuv Salon

“People and Life” is the title and common denominator of the second year of this independent exhibition compiled by the Czech Photography Salon. It will take place in the first three weeks of December in Topicuv Salon on Narodni Trida.

The king of Czech street photography, Frantisek Dostal, will for the first time share with the public his collection of photographs from his birthplace Vrsovice and also a set named “How I met the Evas”. Ladislav Sitensky is about to captivate the audience with his early work from the Czech capital despite being the best known for his photographs from the RAF environment . To add a different angle on things Petra Skoupilova will present her work in the Czechoslovak fashion industry having cooperated with leading fashion designers and magazines at the time. Alena Vykulilova may surprise the viewers with her intimate take on the joys and hardships of hospitalized children. The current street photography scene will be in the reigns of Jan Jirkovsky and Anna Bella Betts brings her collection of people shots with an exotic twist having lived in Asia for eight years.

The official opening will take place on Tuesday the 2nd of December 2019 at 18:00 and will then continue until Friday the 20th of December 2019 (daily from 10:00 to 17:00). 1st Salon of Czech Photography

In the first week of December 2018 the very first independent exhibition of the Salon of Czech Photography will take place in the Topicuv Salon on Narodni Trida in Prague. The idea was born from the initiative of a group of photographers who wanted to return beauty into photography and show the viewer that aesthetics and picturesqueness can go hand in hand with modern production. The topics are the hidden corners of Prague and insights into ordinary life in the streets of the Czech capital city. The public can look forward to viewing the work of Ferdinand Bučina, Petr Helbich, René Hrala, Karel Koutský, Tomáš Paulus, Tomáš Rasl, Jaroslav Rössler, Nina Šmídek, Robert Vano and Assem Al-Sabban as a guest of honour. The opening party will take place on Tuesday, December 4th, at 6 PM and the exhibition will continue until Sunday, December 9th, each day starting at 10 AM and closing at 5 PM. Each day, during the opening hours of the exhibition, a chosen artist will be present and available to introduce their work and answer questions. The visitors will have the opportunity to purchase selected artworks and book publications by the exhibitors.

11th Edition of PRAGUE PHOTO FESTIVAL

As every year in April Prague comes alive with photography. The PRAGUE PHOTO, which will introduce many exhibitors, will extend into PRAGUE PHOTO FESTIVAL. International exhibition - Krom Art - Rome 8-11 June 2017

Let me invite you to the international photography festival Krom Art which will take place in Rome from the 8th to the 11th June 2017. I will attend the festival with the selection of my pictures from USA and on Saturday I will have a seminar regarding the bromoil process. You are all welcome to attend :-).
